Locomotive and Train consist depends upon
the availability of Antique Equipment.
Steam Excursion trains will be operated on selected weekends, on the dates shown in blue on the left. They will operate on a different schedule from the Diesel Excursions.

Time of trip is approximately 40 minutes each way
Round-trip approximately 1 hour 25 minutes
Tickets Good for Round-Trip Excursion
You may exit the train in Niles or Sunol and
return on a later train. On steam trains from Sunol to the east, no exiting is allowed until the train arrives back in Sunol.
Pets are not allowed on the trains.
Only working Service Animals are allowed, and they must be on their leash and harnessed while on the train and the platform.
DONATIONS REQUESTED*
Starting April 1st
We suggest $7 for children age 3 through 12
(Infants through age 2 ride free)
$10 for Seniors age 62 and older,
and $12 for everyone else
* The requested donations apply to our normal, Sunday Excursion trains. All other "Special" trains (Wine Tasting Specials, Train of Lights, 2472 Big Steam Specials, etc.) have fixed ticket prices, which are shown on their respective event pages.

We are adding some Saturday operating days this year. From April through August, we will operate on the first and third full weekend each month, using our Excursion Timetable.
The "full weekend" is where the Saturday and the following Sunday are in the same month. You can see our operating dates in the left-hand column.
Our School Trains will be operating on Thursday mornings in May
from Niles on May 3 & 24,
from Sunol on May 10, 17 & 31

Seating is available on a
first-come, first-served basis
Wheelchair access limited to 2 per train. Wheelchairs may not move about the train due to the narrow aisles in the antique equipment
